I always wanted to make a rain picture (specially these days, instead of snowing it's just raining here...) I wanted to archieve that typical rain effect used in 2D animation movies ;) Generally it is a random gryphon character with brown tiger stripes on the back, though I will use it for my gryphon series...

I love it! I'm not positive that I agree that the rain would pool like that on the surface of its skin (unless you could somehow depict a more forceful wind/heavier rain hitting surfaces to match the amount of water draining off the gryphon), but perhaps it would be that way if, instead of fur the crittuer had oiled feathers. You've chosen well for the effect of rain; and I like the choice of colour for your critter. I also love the musculature and the wing structure.

i love the colours u've used its not grey like most ppl tend to use when its raining its got aheavy blue tinge to it, its.... superb for lack of a better word... *favs*

i love gryphons soooooooooo much thats wwhy i have a gryphon avatar wich is supposed to be animated.any way the gryphon looks so sad with much sufering

It's hard for me to decide whether I like this or the Narnia-style gryphon better. The fur details on the previous gryphon were cooler, but I can see some improvement in your linework on this one, and the rain effects (even though, as you said, it's 2D-cartoon-style rain) give it a cool mood.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! I'm sorry, but I don't think you have any right to say such a thing! THIS IS SUPERB!!!! Look at this talent! I've seen her past works and BAM! They're all amazing! I couldn't castigate this at all. I only wish I had half of that talent! I'm not envious though, just stunned into submission.

These kind of people should be honored for their immense imagination and talents, not criticized! Gorgeous work!!!
