Patientia and Invidia

This is a picture of two characters that I made up for my manga.  The one with white hair is an angel called Patientia and the other is a shinigami called Invidia.  It is made with colored pencils but it looks like it is made with crayons in some places after I scanned it.  I kinda based these characters on what I look like, but not really.  Any suggestions on what I can do to make it better?  (Besides getting a new scanner)
