Fear the crudely drawn shotgun.
Me and my friend both did this, just at the bit where you first enter the castle.Now we new from magazines and stuff that there was monk guys in the castle so we knew to look out for them. So i walked in to the courtyard,told ash to wait, somehow failed to see the blue flame and wandered into the hut.i was facing the type writer turned round fast seen the merchant, assumed the worst and shot him with a shotgun, then i realised what i had done....and had to reload.
needless to say the merchant didn't see it coming.

XD roflmao my brother has shot him once are twice too. One time he was running from the Zealot monks (Thats what they call those brand of ganados) in the castle and he turned the corner and saw the monk and BOOM! with a rocket launcher. Poor merc xDDDCasandraelf on April 4, 2007, 6:03:24 AM

*laughing so hard i can't comment*...er-hem! that happened to me once, when i first played the game(i made the mistake of getting a bunch of ganados on my @$$ and as i was shooting like crazy, i ended up killing the salesman)...btw, the salesman IS a ganados...i guess they(the illuminados) screwed up with the plagas and those salesmen are the result
