Harry & Hedwig

Gah I really begin to suspect that FAC hates me >_> Still having problems uploading pics, either I get an error message or nothing happens at all. Ah well.. maybe I'm lucky this time XD Good thing I copied the description (I do get really paranoid what with Firefox crashing all the time and the site not working properly)
 
Well this was actually more of a quick sketch but I decided to color it nevertheless. Somehow I really like drawing Harry ^^ (though he's by far not one of my favourite characters) especially his hair lol. And he's wearing one of Mrs Weasleys's handknitted sweaters... yay for handknitted sweaters! My mum always made me ones with cool Disney motives on it when I was younger ^^ Couldn't remember if his was green or red in the books, but well... thought green'd fit nicely :) Lol and nevermind about that window sill... it looks way too narrow for anyone to sit on, but hey... it's a magical school after all XD
 
I absolutely hate how Hedwig turned out though... I guess I kept a bit too close to the reference pic... somehow she really doesn't fit with the style of the rest of the pic o_O And hasn't got enough detail as well. But ya... I suck at drawing birds. Or animals in general actually. It also didn't really help that all the time I had the mental image of that infamous 'O rly' owl in my head while drawing lol.
