Art for Wennichelle/Weas for her 16th birthday! I was on a Memoirs of a Geisha kick (book. not the movie. if you've only seen the rather bad movie, you're missing out. go read.) and decided I needed to vent my need to draw kimonos and obis somewhere.

This is so pretty, I love the colors, and the book was wonderful, the movie left a lot out, but either way this is lovely.

Wow, that's so pretty! I love the kimono; the work you've put in this, and it's CLEAR that you've put a lot, was well spent! It's just something you can go in awe at, then snuggle the crap out of it!

Thanks! ^__^ Yeah, you should. It's long, but worth it. I recommend listening on tape, the voices are very good. (Plus, the book shows you that Pumpkin was not always ebil, like they made her in the movie. D: )

Thanks! ^^ The book is long, but worth it. I listened to it on tape and it's very good that way, the voices are interesting.
