Born simply as almost identical twins, Xao, the blue-eyed, and Ling, the violet-eyed, were living normal lives ... until the fire that fused their skin and hips together ruined everything they had. Running away, they stumbled upon The Dark Woods Circus, where they were accepted ... after paying a price, of course. Their arms were cut off and fed to Rinjitsu, the blue beast, and then they were sewn together ...
Now, they work as the servants to the chairman, often running about and recruiting visitors to their circus ... and sometimes, other acts ...
