I'm coloring this while listening to Disney's Tarzan soundtrack.
+_+
I just figured out how to color in Manga Studio, so I'm testing it out to see how it looks.
These are two characters that popped in my head for Mori no Matsuyou--which might end up being a dystopian themed Naruto doujin and/or illustration fanfic that I have in mind.
Tall, dark and handsome fellah: "Tsugutoshi-dono... you shouldn't push yourself like this."
Short and sickly youth: "Stop it, Shozan. You worry too much."
They are my Shounen Ai Fodder... Just kidding.
An eye to see reality, another illusion. The Seer Tsugutoshi, born blessed and cursed with otherworldly sight, travels eastward toward vision's pull. The loyal Shozan accompanies the youth, standing side as sword and shield.
At any rate, this is my first time using the Shoujo Bubbles (TM). I feel dirty. At least I ended up coloring them dark.... to tone down the girlishness with otherworldlyness instead.

Actually, outside of image editing and graphic design work, I rarely use photoshop
For comic book illustrations like this, I prefer to use a program called Manga Studio, which is a program tooled toward comic book creation. It, in my opinion, offers a better set of out-of-the-box tools for drawing than Photoshop.
