Despite his fate never really being confirmed at the end of ‘Allo ‘Allo, my sister and I like to believe that Engelbert Von Smallhausen, via an elaborate series of events, mysteriously appeared in the series “Combat!”, at Lt. Hanley’s Command Post.

It’s bad enough that he’s somehow ended up in “Allied” territory, but he’s also asking all these intrusive, never-ending questions. In fact, if you flipped his speech bubble trail onto its side, you might even see the symbol for infinity....
