Cerise was elected as Premier in 8E429Y and nominally ruled the Republic from 8E to 11E until his public execution by the people.

His mass popularity arose when he secured a strong joint country framework agreement with The Province of Dnian. The agreement sparked an economic boom which solidified his place as head of state in the Republic.

His popularity began to wane when his paranoia caused him to declare martial law in The Province of Dnian and send troops to the area. The Dnian government expelled the troops and withdrew from the agreement for 1 year. Premier Cerise renegotiated with the Dnian government and they entered the agreement again for 30 years before finally withdrawing with the statement:

"The government and people of the Province of Dnian and it's protectorates have come to the agreement that the Joint Country Framework Agreement no longer benefits us as it did when we first joined."

The withdrawal caused a massive second depression. The economy of the Republic dropped massively and Premier Cerise was blamed. He was tried and was publicly killed by the firing squad. The Republic fell into anarchy.
