The Bomb Squad

 
   Characters: Gordon Alcott, explosive technician. Joseph Blanchard, computer tech. Dallas Carey, keeps everyone from killing each other. Nina Mihaldzic, smarter than the rest of them put together. Aniya Lee, doesn't take any shoot from nobody. Benjamin Standler.... shouldn't be there. Domingo Villalobos, doesn't die. Cameron Black, needs to get laid. Marie Pittman, can get her hands on anything.

Where are they from: A novel concept of mine titled "Ben's War"

Now where are they from geographically: Most of them are Canadian. Gord's a Brit originally. Joseph is Quebecois. Nina is the resident Serbian. Dallas can trace his Canadian roots back six generations, Aniya is half-Chinese. Ben has some German in there somewhere. No one's really sure of where Domingo's from. They think she might be Spanish, though none of them can recognize the language she swears in. Cameron's a Frenchie-Scot cross. Marie's Scottish.

 Aniya heads up a "Bomb Squad" - an independant sabouteur group, one of many autonomous cells. Names are sacred in such an environment, as they can betray you in an age of computer tracking. Everyone is known by their nicknames: "Boss" "BS" "Dom" "Fingers", so on, so forth.
