Moon_BindI love your comments! The camera didn't use any flash when I took this. Marinus fins....I didn't want them to look agressive and I kinda...overeacted.Reddus is red with orange patherns and he is a dolphin dragon....dolphin with dragon head for simple. I don't have any resizing programs just Paint(the one wich came originaly with my computer, wich is a Celeron)

StratadrakeHey, aren't comments and criticism what we all strive for. But be careful what you wish for, especially when I'm around....

First, do you have a scanner? I must admit yours are better than most digital art-photos I've seen. Still, they're not as good as what a scanner can do.

Next, on to physiology, one of my strong points. For the most part, I actually like the chibi versions of these two better than their full-sized version. Only two problems I can find -- well, nits really -- the first being that Marinus's fins are a little too round for my taste, they look more like paddles. And it sorts bugs me how Reddus only has one pair of fins besides the dorsal and tail. It makes his underside seem quite blank, since most aquatic creatures have at least another set of "leg" fins.

It's hard to judge colors on this one since it's a digital camera and digicams don't always get the exposure right. Is Reddus supposed to be red or orange? I'm guessing orange.

The background fish, and background itself, are a nice touch, they keep the drawing from looking empty.

Finally, when you take picture shots with a digital camera I'd highly recommend turning off the flash if it's on and just using the ambient lighting around you (sunlight is best - take it outside on a clear day and shoot!), because the flash always produces some measure of a "bright spot" in the center, leaving the pic slightly darker around the edges.

Those are technical concerns though and don't have anything to do with this drawing in particular. On another note, the picture seems to have lost a little quality in the resizing. Do you have a good photoshop utility to resize pictures with?

Oh well. As digicam shots go this one's still pretty good -- many can't take digicam shots even half as good as this!
