Description
Here is my most recent craft. Made from Styrofoam balls, masking tape, hot glue, pistachio shells, acrylic paint, google eyes, and craft foam that I had lying around. (Majority of my materials used was scrap materials from other crafts/projects.)
I can see it, probably months from now, looking for some of these scrap materials and thinking something like: "I could've sworn I a little bit of black foam left over!" (...I do still have a little left over after these actually but, you guy's get my point. XP)
...This started out being just to make the top half of a dragon's head (no bottom jaw or anything) and I even contemplated on not painting it and leaving it pure like my Pistachio Lion but, I did have quite a bit of blue paint(s) (one dark blue the other light,) left over from another project, a mask for a costume, (which you'll all hopefully see sometime when spring come's around (earliest,) latest being Summer, as I want to varnish it but, I can't varnish below 60F weather. But for the most part the mask is complete.)
I'm Getting off topic... so as you can see I painted in the lighter blue color, (blue color dubbed: Cerulean Blue Hue, brand: Liquitex Basics, for anyone curious.) The top and bottom parts are separate as you can see in one of the photo's taken. ...I also made the little stand for it, not really worth talking about as it's just a piece of scrap wood with two nails in it. xP
Man, I had a lot to say about this, so I'll shut up now. :-)
Hope you all enjoy!
