I am in such a crafting spirit. :D
Anywho, this is a little necklace I made with some ribbon, hot glue, and pistachio shells; (is there anything pistachio shells can't do?), painted with acrylic paints then varnished with Folkart Gloss varnish.
I contemplated on possibly getting a fabric-y necklace cord, but... I have all this ribbon and thought: "I'm gonna make something of this!" (So, once again all of this was made with stuff I had lying around.) I ended up braiding the ribbon to not only add strength but, to also give it a a bit of style instead of leaving the ribbon as it was (with the exception of the part the little skeletons hang off of.) Taking a photo of the braided ribbon was a pain as the shots weren't coming out too well but, I managed to get one decent shot and that is displayed above.
