Would you believe that this was inspired by a magazine ad for Scope - soft, fluffy grayscale, and all?

Back in the day, when the Rescue Rangers was at its peak of popularity, the concept of Chip and Gadget as a couple was one of the most common, (and at times, amazingly heated), debates twixt my young comrades and I. The thing is that I always assumed that this... this pure absurdity was solely our unholy brainchild. Imagine my surprise years later, when I learned that this seemingly forgotten program was not only alive and well on the internet, but the C+G argument had long been shared by its faithful fans with equal (if not more) vigor.

Yikes!

In retrospect, I'm glad a C+G relationship never saw the light of day on TV (though I still don't condemn the idea - in fan fiction). However, in honor of my inner 10-year-old fan boy, (and inner 10-year-old fan boys everywhere), I decided to create this touching little pic. It's actually older than it looks (12/02/98), but I think it still holds up good enough to be posted. It was all I could do to keep from exploring possible corrections, though...

That's looks so cool! I watched Chip and Dale and loved it until it was canceled.

Wait! I think there's been a misunderstanding. In reality, I haven't been 10 for... well, over a decade! What I meant is that I drew this in memory of the time when I was a young runt who FERIOUSLY supported the C+G union. The pic itself is 6 years old.

Sorry about any confusion. I'm glad you enjoyed the picture though...
