Yay. My first tutorial. Crappyness deluxe. This was done in about 3 min. on photoshop. I love my tablet. :) In case you can't read the text(which you probably can't) I shall narrate for whoever might happen to visit this tutorial. -NEW: with sarcastic, not-meant-to-be-funny funny comments on each step by moi.-
SETTING UP
Step 1: The eyes are about halfway down the head. ALWAYS.
It doesn't matter what style you are drawing in, the eyes will always be about halfway down the head. Shown by the blue line. (Wonder why the red's there then)
Step 2: They are always about an eye-length apart. This is the general length, but depending on the style of eye it might be a bit more or less. But it is always around this length. This is to allow for the nose and mouth. (No! Really? I thought it was just for the sake of having a huge gap there...)
THE ACTUAL EYE(S)
Step 3: Start by drawing the upper and lower lids. Some anime may have these joined, others may not, and some do not show the lower lid at all. How you draw it is up to you. This is an example of a typical female anime eye. It is large and both lids curve away. Some eyes are narrower and some have sharper curses or almost none. Once again this is up to you. (Shut up! You serious? It's only my drawing!)
Step 4: Iris is next. Notice that while it is a complete circle(or oval) the top and bottom lids will cover parts of it. REMEMBER THIS. ^^
Step 5: This is the pupil. Not a student. The pupil. Of your eye. The...oh I give up. The black shiny thing on your eye. It will usually have one or two shiney bits where the light source is coming from. Light source here is top-left. Like the iris the pupil is cut off by the top eyelid, though sometimes not by the bottom.(Ooh...lame jokes. How amazing and fun.)
Step 6:This is the eyelash. I have not much to say about it other than it is only the top lid where we usually see the lashes, however many that may be. Eyelashes are a bit like anime hair--you can clump them for simplicity or draw each seperate lash. The most popular I have seen in anime is just one tapering clump drawn on the top lid. shown is another popular style, with two tapering. The botom is just a thickened line. (Oh...yeah. Right. I SO understood that. T.T This whole tutorial is so...reprehensible.)
Step 7: Once you have done one eye you will probably want to draw the other. This is relatively simple with the front view, as here, but when drawing other perspectives the eyes may change size depending on the direction. This is detailed in my next tutorial. (Which is planned, but not even started! W00t, I am so organised, ne?)
EXTRAS: These are a few different eyes, from different perspectives and different expressions. Some of these can be used for either gender. Notice that male eyes tend to be narrower and have less eyelashes and shinies than female eyes, whcih are generally larger. (Shi...nies? What happened to light source and big long edu-ma-kated words?)

Uuh...yeah. If you hate or like this, desperately-want-another-tutorial or just want to spam around, comment. Pelase. I don't care how much I hate the lack of drawing skills here but PLEASE. I'm only 13, don't make me beg for comments, not before I turn 16 at least.
