It is said that ancient Greece held glory and wisdom and all these things that are lost in the uproar of youth (and how are we meant to gather them back from someone we haven't been?). It is said that in the minds of the Greek polis leaders a star laid hidden, ignorant of the jealousy the world bred for its shine.
Is this what a hero is like?
So why do we remember him from our childhood holding a sword and a golden bow and the shining bracelet of the glorious, rising from the bath in the sea of battlefield?
