Isolan

This is an Isolan, from the forests of Isol, in the south of Midgra. They are an almost entirely arborial race (living almost their entire lives in the trees), with many adaptations to that way of life. For one, they have short torsos, with long arms and legs, as well as a prehensile tail with its own "hand" at the end. All these joints are double-jointed.<br />

The most unusual part of these beings is that they have five fingers and five toes. They have two thumbs on each hand, and two of their toes face backwards, allowing for a much more secure grip on a branch or vine.<br />
<br />
As you can see they are colored exceptionally well for forest living, with the mixing of browns and greens. Coupled with mossy colored clothing, they practically disappear in the dense vegetation of their forests.<br />
<br />
Another oddity is that their neck has twice the number of vertebre than is normally found in all other races. This allows them to turn their heads a complete 360, and to rotate it so as to appear upside down.<br />
<br />
Those three bands on his tail signify that he is the leader of a hunting group for his village.<br />
<br />
Okay, yes the hands were inspired by General Grievous, the legs...not so much.
