I wanted to do this picture for some time now, because I hadn't drawn any weapons, and I felt like trying a different pose...sorta. The sword in her right hand is straight, and was far too long for the page, and it probably would have made this picture too big to upload, so it's only that.

This is Tola, and she seems to be a cross between a Pyrany and an Arutarian, which she kinda is. While it is rare, there are those that practice gene splicing and the like in Midgra. While they are few and far between, many have access to DNA samples from just about any race you can think of. Tola is the result of blending Pyrany, Arutarian, and Isolan DNA. Through careful manipulation, her skin became silvery, the fan on her tail can harden into a blade, as well as her hair having the modified nerves. All of her appendages can lengthen, like the Arutarians, and her skin and hair capable of changing color like a chameleon, something I forgot to mention about the Isolans. Some Thyme DNA may have slipped into the patry dish, since she has lived for almost 1500 years and not aged. Pyrany lifespans are roughly 500 years, while Arutarians only live 100-150 years, and Isolans last a mere 80.

Her creator, who is now dead, had made her so she wouldn't be alone, having lost all her other creations to a defect in their genetic code. She corrected this, however, and it gave birth to Tola. Having succeeded in creating her companion, the scientist closed her lab, and settled into life as a mother.

While she was young, Tola took a liking to edged weapons, and began to make her own swords and knives. She also grew to love many forms of dancing, from the erotic, to kind that only those like her could perform, involving many acrobatic moves. Combining her two loves, she created a sword fighting style that is also a very dangerous dance. Wielding two, three, or even four sword at once (two held in her hands, two in her feet, while she rests on her tail).

Oh, her face, right, because she's in the middle of her dance, her face is covered by her hair for the moment, I'll draw her uncovered face very soon. This actually started out as a concept sketch, but then I started to really look at it, and boom there she is.

Hope you like it.

Ah, splicing is fun. I have many genetically created and altered creatures. Aurul, for instance. Genetically altered vampire.
