!Nova Sunfire!

This is Sunfire demonstrating another of his more powerful techniques. He does this by not releasing energy gathered for an Inferno attack, but pulls it into himself (hence the glowing skin). Thus he becomes a walking bomb, technically speaking. This is called Nova for a specific reason, because it is an omnidirectional blast (firing in all directions). Inferno can only be fired in one direction, and, while it is still capable of blowing up a planet, Nova is quite capable of destroying an entire solar system. Though, using it to any extent greater than that would most likely kill him as well. Needless to say he is very, very pissed off at the moment.
