Akira Arika

Akira Arika is my character in a friend's Harry Potter fanfic on fanfiction.net. He is what is known as a Mirror Mage, whereas his magical aura acts as an impeneterable (sp?) barrier against anything magic based (including enchanted weaponry, elements, even forbidden curses), it then rebounds the spell, hex, or curse back at the caster. This has its downsides, as the ingesting of a potion (any potion) causing him extreme nausea and pain; this also means that healing magic won't work either, so if he breaks a bone or gets sliced up, he has to let it heal naturally. You might be wondering about the wing, tail, and hand, well, he's a partial animagus; instead of becoming a whole dragon, he becomes a hybrid of sorts - this is due to his being a Mirror, his own aura will not allow him to fully transform. He is a lightning elemental, and is one of the many to carry the thunder pike, Serenity. Hope you like it, and don't hesitate to pick out mistakes I made.
