Flames and shadows

He was an angel of the lord, pure life, pure light, a dash of God’s grace. And then he raised a righteous man from perdition, and he met doubt, and doubt consumed him. He rebelled, was killed, was returned, he fought, he felt, but then lost faith, in his father, in who made him change, and fell. And he truly lost everything for nothing.

I usually don’t write a lot in what I submit, but I wanted to explain what I wanted to express with… ok, no more excuses, I just enjoy drawing sad, injured and bleeding people, and I have a special affection for the character, so this is the result.

Special thanks to Noel, because his fic was the catalyst for this.

The technique, I’m not sure, just some graphite pencil, water colors, normal colors, and basically everything I had at my disposal.

This one made me cursed more than usual, gave me nightmares, and I had to restart twice, so comments are highly appreciated, anything, that you smite me if you could, that I made you waste five seconds of your precious time, that I’m a cruel s…, or whatever.
