Last night... That bottle of god-knows-what that seems to be healing me had a terrible, terrible side effect.
It made me hallucinate horrible things...
I was logged on to FAC when I heard a noise from not too far away. A shadowy figure slunk towards me. No facial features, but the smell of iron and death lingered around it.
It slowly formed the shape of Ashe, except with red, leaking eyes. The red wasn't blood, it wasn't liquid at all. It was like it was etched into the shadow's face. The red lines wrapped their way around the back of its head and down the tips of its hair. A shimmer of light came through its face, followed by more and more until it was a gaping maw of light.
I wiggled backwards to try and put some distance between us, but it slowly slunk closer to me. I glanced over at the tree where Ashley's dead body lay under, and the entire area was gone. Just black. I turned around to see what I was backing up into and almost fell backwards into darkness. There was no land other than where I was and where it was.
It held its arm out towards me and I saw the strange clublike limb bulge out into a hand-like shape, reaching for me. Suddenly, I saw out of my peripheral vision that there was something next to me. More darkness. The universe I knew was literally collapsing in on itself. I looked up at the moon and saw pieces of the dark night sky crackle and shatter, oozing dark matter directly above my head. I looked back at the shadow and saw it had gotten MUCH closer to me.
I cried out, but tasted copper slipping between my teeth. Blood was pouring out of my mouth, preventing anything from entering or leaving it. I couldn't breathe through my shattered nose, so I was slowly suffocating. It stepped closer and hovered over me, and it was then that I saw it wasn't Ashe...
It was Liz. I was able to gasp a "What the Hell?!" before I was grabbed by the throat and hoisted into the air. Darkness began to seep off of her arms onto my neck and drip to my chest. It was cold, almost fluidlike. It ran like water down my body and suddenly collected at my waist, swallowing up my legs. I was dropped to the ground and landed hard on my side. Liz ran her hand through my hair slowly, and then backed off to watch her handiwork.
Slowly, I watched in fear as dark matter oozed over my eye and the entire half of my face. The blood had stopped comign from my mouth, so I screamed in pain and terror, ripping the darkness to shreds. It felt like skin, though it tore like paper. And suddenly, I realized I was tearing my own face off. I had no choice but to struggle in terror as I was swallowed by the darkness.
I arched my back, tensed up, squeezed my remaining eye shut, and cried tears of blood as I felt my mouth widen into a sinister snarl. I let out one more scream and felt the blood drip onto my stomach and darkness swallow my body and the sinister shadow of my friend open its mouth wider than ever and vomit blood all over me before my hands jumped to my face and I realized
I was perfectly fine. Nothing wrong at all. Regular tears fell down my face as I sat and shook for the rest of the night.
There is no sun anymore. There's not even any sky. Just darkness...
I fear the worst.
