WAAAAHHHOOOO!!! MINECART RIDES ARE ALWAYS FUN!
In SMRPG, the 3rd Star Piece is found inside Moleville Mines, and after you beat the boss and get it, you ride the cart out of the mines, collect coins and mushrooms to speed up, and make a crash landing back into town! It's one of the rare action sequences of the game, and it's rather fun! ^^
Most of it is actually inside the mines, but the last bit is outside. I chose to illistrate it outside, just... because I can.
So, yeah... I like how everything came out here. The cart and track intimidated me at first, but then I got them. The pose/design I borrowed from Donkey Kong 64 official art.
And Mario, Mallow and Geno look like they're having fun, yeah? ...well, maybe not Mallow, but whatev. They ARE pretty high up, after all. XD

Oh man! I would faint if I was up that high in a speeding mine cart o_o;. Mallow looks freaked out but the other two look like their having a good time =D! That part was quite fun but I hate it when I miss a turn or something and fall off the track, or when there's a ton of coins on one track and you're on the one below it...I hate that.
