Very nice for your first try in Photoshop! The background and coloring is great. One critique is that next time try using a darker color to shade on the horse's body. Since there is such a dark shadow on the grass below the horse, that means that there is bright light source coming from the upper left, therefore darker shading and brighter highlights on the body of the horse as well. I hope that helped! ^^;

wow, this looks awesome O_O i dont use photoshop so i cant tell you much...it looks beautiful to me though :)
