Babes & Blades: Battle Nymph and The Barbarian

This is the first picture of my 'Babes & Blades' concept.

It's basically made up of female fantasy characters sporting different types of bladed weapons like swords, knives, glaives, and what have you.

The first character is the 'Battle Nymph.' I've always had this interest in dwarves, elves, nymphs, etc. I've always pictured them as delicate creatures, but in this case, I made her a badass mofo. I call her weapon the 'saeth-nair.' It's curved similar to a samurai, but has a heavy mythrill plating just above the notch/hilt. It's intricately engraved with spells to prevent it from breaking and stay sharp at all times.

The second character is a Barbarian. I dunno, must be the lack of ideas at that time, but I just had to make her.

She's supposed to be a bit more feminine, but I figure that would just look really silly on a Barbarian, plus she has that big-assed sword she uses to kill bears and other large creatures. There's a real name for her kind of weapon, but at this time it's slipped my mind.
