This is Abu-suma the dimensional gatekeeper.

Those of you who are good with japanese monsters will probably know he's an abura-sumashi (hence his name LOL)

In the Anime story im writing, hes the temple keeper of Futatsuki shrine, which acts as a barrier between the spirit and human worlds. the shrine is located in a deep forest in the spirit world and in the middle of Tokyo in the normal world. The forest path to the shrine used to be lighted up by dozens of fireflys and lanterns, and he also was the lantern lighter. However, the gateway has been closed to keep an evil organization from escaping into the normal world. so he's been out of a job for 12 years, and has gotten a bit lazy lol.

He likes to drink tea and play shogi (japanese chess) with the forest spirits.
