I think this is my best work so far! ^_^ Sketch by pencil, color + etc. by photoshop 5.5 (and da mouse! gasp!)

OK, this is my character Chanel and her dog Vestige (look up the definition). Chanel is in the late teens, and she lives in a weird fantasy world where your shadows, wherever they lie, cause the color to be sucked out and what it's lying on becomes all grayscale. Chanel fights bad people/creatures/things, so that makes her good! Her weapon is a gun; this is a modern fantasy story. I'll make up the rest of her story later.

Her dog, Vestige, is made of pure shadow, but he doesn't make this turn grayscale because he is a living shadow, and that's why he doesn't HAVE a shadow because he is his own. His eye is currently red because they're fighting something right now. It's usually white or something. And one main concept of their story is that he is constantly pulled to become the evil creature he really is, but Chanel is what restrains him from "going to the dark side"!!! dun dun dun!!!!
