Description

This is a painting I'd done during my sophomore year in college, of the Siesta Key, Florida beach during sunset. It's one of a few items you'll find in my portfolio that would be considered "realisim." <br />

Thanks everyone. I worked from a photograph if that makes much difference? Lol. This one was among my favorites, but all I've got left of it in my profile is a photo. :-( I had to pay rent, and was short by 300, so I sold it to a local. Yay, I'd gone another month of not being evicted, lol. It was a large one... I'm currently gathering my materials to do another (more morbid) painting... but since I found out my fiance was cheating on me, I had to pack up my stuff and move to a different state... I left my drafting table, painting material, and large canvas behind since they couldn't fit in my car... so now they're all sitting in his shed, rotting. :-( Hopefully I'll be able to get my stuff soon, 'cause I don't have all the money to buy new supplies, currently.

This made it into Picture of the hour! I wonder why no one has commented yet. When I saw it in thumbnail, I thought it was a photo because it's so good! ^_^;;
