Simple, classic portrait of an arabian horse. My horses were getting too styalized so I decided to find a picture of a horse and draw it. Reference found in Horse Illustrated.<br />

sailorharmony2000Gorgeous!! A weakness, yet huge fascination that I have are thin, delicate, seperated strands of hair like those in this horse's mane. I love how the shadows and highlights are handled as well.

Laharuoh man!.....that's beautiful...it looks so real, and i love the way u did it's hair extremely detailed, it almost seems like the horse is coming out of the picture

Jailcrow_of_MandosStylization isn't bad, but-- man, oh man, neither is this ^^ I think it's incredible! The color choices and the way you blended them- it's just amazing. I also like how you paid attention to the parts of the bridle, but didn't put them in detail that would especially stand out =) Does that make sense? The mane is incredible-- just a little flat looking (whadda I know about horses, lol ^^?) And nice background-- it matches with the hair color ^^ I usually forget to put a bg in O.o I want to pet the soft nose!
