Spider Mercenary

In ancient times the Knights of the Isle of Spydir were a class of warriors above all other. For nine centuries, they lent their strength to causes of justice, truth, and rightness, fighting to ensure the continuation of the world Order. Besides their great prowess with bladed weapons, the Knights were masters of magic as well. Most notably, they wove spells into the fabric of their robes, causing them to be as impenetrable as plate armor.

Times have changed, though. Darkness has crept back into the world, the great spells have been forgotten, and even the honorable Knights have fallen to corruption. In these days, these "Spider Mercenaries" roam the land, selling their swords to the highest bidder, masters of poison rather than magic.

I think I can see the influence of my "History of East Asia" class in his clothes...
