Demons at Play

Wow... oooold picture--found it while cleaning my room. I actually did all the inking and most of the coloring in 2004, but finished the picture just a few days ago, so I put 2005 on there. What can I say? It's amazing what you have the patience for when you don't have internet to keep you busy. I would be hard-pressed to sit down and stipple something now. Ah, a bit about the character--the girl there is Lora, the Forest Guardian, but some 350 years before she makes an appearance in my fanfiction "Samurai Jack and the Forest of Shadows". This is an illustration from one of her first great battles, the first attack of the demon hoarde that sought control of her forest and the nexus within it. The only weapon she had against them was a unicorn's horn and a whole lot of dumb luck. Maybe I'll write the story down sometime so you can read it.
