To answer your questions, yes, Taru is gay (so is Nara) and he does have a tremendous crush on James, who, well, doesn't exactly return the feelings... *laughs*

Given the opportunity that mistletoe provides, Taru managed to snag a kiss from an unsuspecting James...who didn't seem to like the action all that much...
