Theme 04 Dark

Wow, I’m actually doing the next of these, huh? XD About time.

This theme was dark, and for a long time I had trouble coming up with what to draw for it. Then I figured that since I used Gallows for Light, I should use him for Dark too. When I got the idea of what to draw for it, I realized something… I had never really told you people online about Gallows’ darker half. The main reason is spoilers (and I mean A LOT of spoilers), but then I figured I should just reveal it without giving anything else away.

Bottom line is that Gallows suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, otherwise known as a split personality (think Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, or Two-Face from Batman). His other half was born from the traumatic events (which are spoilers ^^) Gallows suffered as a child and teenager. All of the anger, guilt, and any other dark feelings that Gallows felt were locked away deep inside of him, never to be revealed to the world. But as time passed, these feelings began to form what’s known as his other personality, which has been dubbed the name Galishina (Gallows' real name).

There are several blunt ways to tell who’s in control:

Gallows:
-Green Eyes
-Always Smiling
-Very Reserved With Own Problems (he won’t talk about them)
-Kind and Extremely Generous
-Under Confident

Galishina:
-Yellow Eyes
-Smirks A lot
-Confident
-A Bit Selfish (He only helps if it benefits him)
-Will Do Anything to get What he Wants (even murder)

While Galishina is always in Gallows’ head, he only really takes the reins of control when Gallows gets angry (which is why Gallows keeps his temper in check), is weakened, or out of it. The two are constantly fighting inside of their head, which explains why Gallows physically spaces out a lot.
