Description
Done in charcoal in art class. We had to get picture of ourselfs, marki it into 4's, then turn it upside down.
First we had to cover the entire paper with charcoal. MESSY MESSY! Then we got a kneaded eraser to "build up" the face. After that, we got a pearl eraser to make brighter highlites, and details. then we got a charcoal pencil. for dar detais and shint. then my teache asked me to if i wanted to enter it into a contest. I didn't make it in to the 60 kids out of 700. but it's MATTED! FOR FREEEE~
Dimentions-18x12 inches
Charcoal, a total of 2.5 weeks, 55 minutes each day.
I had so much charcoal on my hands at the end of each day, i could touch anything and leave a hand print!
Hardest part to do, the bottom hand. I cocked my hand in some way that was freakishly hard to draw! DAMN U HAND! I never knew i could make my hand do that.....
Funnest part to do- The Eye. I dunno, looks purdy!
