Roloc first obtained his control over paint at a young age. at the age of 3, Arjays' father left him and his mother. The distraught child turned to art for an outlet. While focusing his anger onto a canvas, Arjay discovered that he had the ability to manipulate the paint he was using. Years of secretive training helped The young boy, now teen, to obtain full control. He recently left home with only $1000, a change of clothes and a hat given to him by a friend, who is pronounced dead. Guising his trip as a pre-college course, the now Roloc went on a journey of self discovery and and to further delve into his unique abilities. He met Toxa and Booma-rang on a trip to purchase more paint for his art and crimefighting. The duo were chasing after a criminal at the time, and Roloc found this to be his only chance. Unleashing his paint-based abilities, Toxa and Booma-rang saw his potential, and gladly accepted him into their team.

Roloc is very easygoing and is never one to cause strife or fighting intentionally. Usually, he is smiling childishly, but his face and body language becomes intense when he is either drawing, painting, writing or fighting.
