Description
I could remember this guy's distinctive head shape, but I couldn't recall it's name until I bought a book on Prehistoric animals a few days ago. Diplocaulus was a prehistoric amphibian, it's trianular head may have kept predators from being able to gulp it down. Diplocaulus means "Double Stalk". I drew this from a pic of a well-preserved fossil, but I have no idea what, if any patterns or colors it had...<br />
