Strange Creature 4, Arachnataur 1

I was unsure where to classify this one, he's something I've been wanting to draw for some time now. The hook-like appendages on the front limbs are called pedipalps, they distinquish male spiders from females, among other things (Size, shape of abdomen, etc...). The spider I used as referance was a Grass Spider, but I colored it differantly.

As for the human half, I couldn't make it look like him, but whenever I picture the Arachnataur in my mind, he looks like Skaara (Played by Alexis Cruz) from Stargate...if I'd have had a referance pic at the time, I'd have given him the exact same hairstyle.

This is one of the smallest pics I've made, the original is about the size of a coaster all-together.
