A strange choice of work, since I'm absolutely terrified of cockroaches, I have been my whole life. I used to hate them too, and I would go out of my way to kill them, even if they were living outside, but I realized they have just as much right, if not more, to exist ...so I only kill them in the house, or, rather, I get someone else to kill them, especially the native Floridian kind (it's as large as a cat!)...
Please, no profanity in comments,
thank you

Teen_Titans_Lynx*Shivers* ugh. I dislike roaches but I don't see them often. It's SPIDERS that really get me, but I've even been known to let them outside on occasion. I guess I'm just respect other lifeforms a lot. ^_^'

About the picture though. I think the legs are little too thin, but that could very well be just because of the position were viewing the roach from. Also, the claws the roach is standing on look odd. They look like he's dangeling in midair instead of actually standing on them. Other than that, however, this is an excellent peice of work.

It looks like this little beast has teeth on him- am I right?? You've got a good body structure going on- if that's a crutch he/she is balancing himself on then I'd say that's a good touch ^~ The legs do bother me, but I love the abdomen though, as well as the head-part (I forgot my buggy physiology..) Since it looks so comical it reminds me of one of those crazy talking cockroaches in Joe's Apartment (I think that is the name of the movie. Never saw it all the way through though) All in all, you made an ugly bug look good; I'm just thankful I'm seeing it's underside as opposed to his dorsal (I hate seeing roaches from a bird's-eye-view)(Call it a phobia of mine..)

P.S: If that species was as large as cats as you say, then I would never want to see it dead, especially in my own house O.o..

Escapee_From_BedlamThat's funny, you've been afraid of cockroaches since babyhood x3 I suppose I was too; 'twas the American roaches (those flying horrors) that gave me the heebie-jeebies. An odd turn-of-events happened recently with my home being paid several visits by several different LARGE cockroaches though- all of which appeared at the dead of night with me doing work at the computer desk- (those things surprise me since they run so f a s t!) It was odd in the sense that although I hated this particular type of roach, upon a fifth sudden encounter I neither flinched or shrieked... I actually, dare I say, grew accustomed to the roach o.o. So accustomed that I walked up to it's brown body and observed it wildly up-close; so accustomed that while I was eating a p.b sandwich I chased away this animal repeatedly and ended up sharing a tenth of my meal with it.. I was so personally attached to this bug that I literally cried when my step-mother said enough was enough and personally slapped it against the wall with her cold bare hand. That was the last American Cockroach that I've seen in my household. (now we have "Germans" coming over xD)

Heh, sorry I went off like that, I just thought it'd be nice to mention that story-
