Forsaken

Archanfel was created about three million years ago by aliens known as "The Creators". They had come to Earth to create the perfect biological weapon, and they suceeded, in man. Archanfel was their foremost creation, the Zoalord, a being capable of controlling the vast armies of Zoanoids, humans who could change into powerful creatures at will or on command.

Everthing went well until one of "The Creators" had the stupid idea of fitting a human with their own Bio-Booster Armor, and Guyver 0 was born...Guyver 0 was immune to "The Creator's" powers and turned against them, slaughtering many of their Zoanoid creations, until Archanfel stopped him using a device called a "Unit Remover", which tore the armor from him. But "The Creator's" had given up, terrified of the power of the Guyver, they abandoned Earth, humanity, and Archanfel. For good measure they destroyed a moon and sent it's fragments to crash into Earth, to destroy their mistakes.

Archanfel was able to deflect most of it with his powers, but a few pieces still hit, causing an Ice Age, and Archanfel was so weakened by his efforts that he was forced to go into hibernation for millions of years.

About 400 years ago, Archanfel was found and awakened by a man named Balcus, who he granted the powers of a Zoalord, making him the second Zoalord, after himself. Archanfel and Balcus began finding others to endow with Zoalord powers
#3 was Waferdanos, a living forest created around the same time as Archanfel and others included Sin Rubeo Amniculis, a Turkish man, Frederick Von Pulukshterl, an Austrian who was given his powers over 200 years ago (I have several drawings of Zoalord Pulukshterl), and Imakarum Miribilis, formerly Masaki Murakami, a reporter who was fighting against Chronos. With the aid of his Zoalords, Archanfel founded the Chronos Corporation, with which he hoped to prove his worth to "The Creators"...He has already conquered the world with his Zoanoids, now all he has to do is get rid of two pesky Guyvers and three traitorous Zoalords...(Hiyern, Khan and Krumeggnic)


This is based on a series of panels from Bio-Booster Armor Guyver, where Archanfel is sitting alone, thinking about the Guyver, just before "The Creators" take off in their ships and abandon him...

When Archanfel first appeared in Bio-Booster Armor Guyver, he seemed cold and evil, but as time has passed and his origins were revealed, he's become a more sympathetic character, like an abandoned child trying to bring his parents back...it's actually very sad.

Yes, he was naked, I don't know why, as all the "cave men" shown watching "The Creator's" ships take off were wearing furs, but I guess he figured his body wasn't as ugly as their's were...
