Description

Description
Ran_The_Hyena
Yet another OC. He's not meant to look like Shatterstar,
that was just an accident. I'll probably change his look some when I get the chance, certainly the hair. I should probably make his scars longer as well.

Other distinguishing features: Whitefire is an albino. He has three scars over his right eye and three identical scars on his chest from a duel with Wolverine. (His skin should be pink, but I don't know to what degree, and I'm not much with coloring...)

I'll list his Brood abilities under White Dragon

Whitefire was born on an alien world of warriors, but his parents thought that since he was an albino he might not be suited to become a warrior, so they treated him like a fragile doll. His uncle, however, saw that Whitefire was stronger than his parents gave him credit for, and just wanted to be treated like anyone else. Wise-In-Battle secretly trained his nephew in combat and the ways of the warrior. Unfortunately, while on a trip, their transport was attacked by the Brood, and though they put up a good fight, both were captured and implanted with Brood eggs. Whitefire was given the egg of a wingless Male Brood Drone, the lowest caste of Brood. (Wise-In-Battle was later killed in battle with the Shi'Ar)

However, this was not the end of Whitefire. Unlike most Brood, this Drone secretly joined minds with his host, rather than destroying him, an act considered heresy by the Brood. The two began to work together to try to figure a way out. The Brood Queen eventually brought her nest to earth and set up shop in the tunnels beneath Manhatten, snatching people from the streets to infect. Whitefire saw this as the perfect oppotunity to prove himself and get his revenge, so he sought out the greatest enemy of the Brood, the X-Man Wolverine, and challenged him to honorable combat, having finally found an opponant who would treat him as an honored equal. Though badly wounded in the battle, Whitefire was convinced by Wolverine to prove his honor by turning against the Brood and helping save humanity. When the wounded Brood limped back into the tunnels carrying Wolverine, the Queen was surprised, she was even more surprised when Whitefire joined Wolverine in battling her as the X-Men stormed the nest. Whitefire, though badly wounded, killed the Queen by ripping a a pipe from the wall and ramming it through her skull.

Whitefire was saved by timely medical intervention, but refused to have his scars removed, preferring to wear them as badges of honor. With Wolverine's help, he was accepted into a Dojo to learn Bushido. It was there that his Brood Form finally gained a name, White Dragon. He's currently being aided by the Contemplator in learning to reconcile his two personae.

Note: Whitefire has a Telepathic Inhibitor chip implanted within his skull that shields his thoughts from the Brood Hive Mind.
