She lives in a worldwhere the races of humans and vampires live together. There is alot oftension between the two races, and both have trouble makers willing tocause trouble.
Precious has had a very miserable life. Havingrecently being kicked out by her parents, she ran into a young mannamed Nate and was taken in by him to his orphanage. She then realizesthat most of the people there are vampires, and she has to repay Nate,with her blood. This story (Midnight Waltz) is about her as she triesto adjust to her new life.
