This is a kind of quickie I did last weekend. I went through my classic rock mags the weekend before looking for images to draw, I've been wanting to do more rock/metal legends.
There are some mistakes around the mouth & nose but I'm happy with it. I intend on doing Jason Newstead from the same photo - when you see it you'll know why I wanted to draw it! XD XD
Those who don't know, Hetfield is from the almighty Metallica.
The photo I gridded & copied it from was in Classic Rock, August 2001 mag.
HB pencil on A4.
