Spargus designs - Countess Hikaru and Crista Tasai

This had to come, dood. Everyone who's had passions with the Jak series seriously need to keep with the times with their fan characters.<br />
I am pretty much unsure about what the third game has to offer to us, but in preparation for that I've decided to put down some designs for two of my own Jak II linked characters and see how they would adapt to the world of Spargus City.<br />

The design you see on the left holds Countess Hikaru, Jak's sister. In Haven City she was portrayed as a gothic outcast, with her looks appearing to be too scary for the citizens to handle. And now, in the world of Spargus, she decided to keep with the desert heat by tieing her hair into a ponytail, getting a mature image with earrings and a moon necklace, keeping firm with short sleeved clothing, leather gloves, a cape that ties behind her hair rather than around it, and... yes, I made her steal the late Baron Praxis's shoes. XD Come on, she needs the protection!<br />
As this shows, when Jak gets older, so does Hikki. ^^<br />

And on the right is Crista Tasai. Now I know what you're asking - "why the heck is the Baroness an ottsel? I thought she was the same elf-like species as Jak! o_O" I have some explanation to do. If you haven't read "The Dangers of Tomorrow", which you can read either here, at Fanfiction.net or at deviantArt, then don't read this part unless you want to be spoilt!<br />

Crista was thought to have a past link towards the Krimzon Guards by being the earliest captain for the team. During an assault upon the Metal Head nest, she fought bravely against the Metal Head leader alongside the others. But... one strike given from the monster itself caused her to fall down a bottomless pit, allowing the others to presume her dead despite their efforts to go down and save her.<br />
But what the Krimzon Guard never knew was that right at the bottom of the pit was a pool of Dark Eco, which somehow allowed her to bring herself back to the surface as an ottsel. That left her to struggle to find her way back towards the city, even if it did mean finding a temporary home in Spargus. But by the time she came back, seven years passed, leading up to the events of the end of Jak II. And so, all she could do was hide away from the city, with almost everyone she knew within the guard (bar Torn and Ashelin) died bravely from the Metal Head attacks.<br />

Some of her traits from her Krimzon Guard form are still there including the tattoos and headgear (note that the KG logo was torn off, probably to show her pain). Her arm armor is still firmly in place, plus some additional gloves and arm cloth. Since the events of The Dangers of Tomorrow, she's become a moodier character - one minute she's pissed, another minute she feels content, and yet another she mourns over the loss of her closest companions.<br />

I hope they manage to fit well within Spargus City - what kind of roles to fit in, I'd rather wait until I get the game. ^^'<br />
