October 24th. In terms of videogaming, it was shown to be a rather important date to me in my book, and it was these spoken words that were to cause the effects on it -

"You are the surpreme weapon, Jak. And I made you. Still, any leader worth his salt always has his backup plan... Remember, the first rule in making a bomb... is to always make two!"

For those who still need to figure things out, those were the last words of Baron Praxis, one of a few characters that suffered an untimely fate in Jak II. Today marked the day of my completion of the game this time last year, as well as first witnessing of the crucial scene before the final mission. So let's put it this way - I am that sensitive over the whole thing, even though I feel as if I'm probably the only one at times.

So... yeah. Inbetween mail-order images I ended up putting together ideas for this pic. I had a lot of Kingdom Hearts music in the background, which probably explains the falling under blue aura being similar to the opening scenes of said videogame. I found it cool enough to do the aura effects with the edge of my rubber, even though I personally thought they showed up a bit stronger on paper. And heck... my side-on references for the Baron seem to be getting sharper for some strange reason ^^

Whew. Simply put, I won't forget this day for a few years to come

(DISCLAIMER: My image, charrie created by Naughty Dog... rawr?)
