Jak II Chronicles - 'Nobody Dies'

It's been a long while before I uploaded anything here, and for that, I apologise. X.x If you wanted to know what kind of artwork had me working for most of last week, it had to be this image. Most of you knew that I felt estatic when I read NeoRemmy's notes tagged onto chapter 28 of "Jak II Chronicles", currently running at Fanfiction.net;<br />

"This was specifically created for my good friend, Rexy, who is probably the biggest Baron Praxis fan I know. I know she likes the character a whole hell of a lot, so I was extra careful to finely craft Praxis’ death and give it that emotion it desperately needed. This is also to prove that Baron is not technically evil as much as he is corrupted and was seeing it the wrong way on governing an entire kingdom. In the end, he did repented anyways, showing the good in everyone. Remember Jak’s motto: Everyone deserves a second chance. So, Rexy, here’s to ya. Hope you enjoy this."<br />

And honestly, the part did feel a lot of emotional depth as a whole, and was still shown to have a lot of surprises on certain other details applied alongside it. Even now I could still feel the pain of the Baron's pummeling flow upon my body, and that could be saying something. O.o<br />
So... yeah. As far as you've gone Neo, it's time that I managed to repay the favor. ;)<br />

And thus, here's a screenie showing Jak's emotions over the sudden loss, even more so when he tried so hard to bring his "uncle" to his feet to begin with. And thus, in his own thrustration, he's ended up thumping his chest to show his strain. Believe me, it took me a while to figure out the exact arm positions though; at one stage he looked as if Jak was pounding his groin instead, but... nevermind. XD Drawing Dax, Ani and Puar in the background was also strong enough, and yet I even took extra liberties to the details; by watching the videoclip of the original scene ("The Secret In Making A Bomb") as provided at bobrafei.com somewhere and re-reading the chapter I've had to learn the true shades around the construction site, the positions of all the lights and wreckages, the positions of the characters during that moment in time, the pummelled nature of the Baron's body, and the fact that Jak's scarf and goggles fell off during the incident. (how can I not forget that? ^^)<br />

Being without PSP8, it left me struggling to figure out how to keep the emotional garb going. And thus, earlier today I asked for my good friend Lioness B's help when it came to the rain effects. Even more so, she took it one step further and applied some extra lighting to match, which did really managed to make all the more difference. I said it once before and I'll say it again Li - you are one talented lil pussycat. ^_^<br />

So... yeah. Hope this manages to go down well, and you know I'd be waiting to see the story continue straight through to the end! ^^<br />
