Forgotten Passions of the Past - Haven City

Whew... I apologise for not uploading much in a long time, but I've had to bar myself from the site to save myself from Jak 3 related spoilers. Anyhow, now that I cleared the game, I'll feel relieved to visit. Don't know how often I'll come these days, but I'm still uploading something here for the time being.<br />

After finally getting the sensation of playing through Jak 3, I suddenly had a bit of an inspirational spark of my own. (And even here I still think Jak II still pwns it, so don't worry about me ;)) And this kind of mini-project seemed to be one of them. It's here that I've ended up developing a mere two-pic series concerning the roles of my fan charrie Crista Tasai and her role within the Jak universe.<br />

And where better to start than the beginning? Several hours of drawing and having the Star Ocean 2 soundtrack constantly through my speakers lead me through to the spark as formed by this image.<br />
Here, this image reflected her times as the Krimzon Guard captain, all driven through the determined touches through one Baron Praxis. A lot of anime DVD cover art floating around my local HMV has seemed to influence me for that kind of posture, and the color schemes... they seemed to come in much later, for a bit of reflective color balance.<br />
<br />
Most people I showed this to thought the colors were there to show the meaning of sorrow left behind through Praxis's death, but personally I wanted it to reflect on the "wet" status around Haven City, what with the water around the Port, Mall, Water Slums and whatnot. You'll see what kind of contrast I was looking for with the other when I upload it ^^<br />
