Huan and Luthien

Huan (a very heroic dog ) and Luthien (an elf who's supposed to be the most beautiful earthly being) from the Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien. It was hard to draw both, Huan especially. I'm not too happy with how he turned out. He looks too much like Balto I think. *scratches head* It's odd considering how I didn't look at any Balto pics.There are some inaccuracies in the lighting as well, but the bluish tinge on Luthien was intended. I just thought it would make her appearance more ethereal than if I used normal flesh tones. Besides, it matches the background.
