Description
The S.O. Izanagi is the Steampunk version of the Modern-day Izanagi Interstellar Battleship.
Forged from the remains of a half-destroyed battleship, in the alternate reality where Steam is the main source of power, the S.O.'s Izanagi Battleship reigns supreme amongst standard airships, at a size of roughly 1.4km, this behemoth of a combat Airship is equipped with 18 Heavy Anti-Air cannons, 4 Volatile Missile Pods, one rear AA Battery, two lower frontal Anti-Materiel Turrets, and is built around an experimental Shiva-class Artillery Rail Cannon.
Being of a more primitive design, the Izanagi's Shiva ARC is much larger than the one built onto the S.O.T.A.S. Land Air Siege System. Powered by twin Leviathan Steam Engines, and directed by three abdominal fins and one tail fin, the machine can reach speeds of 60 knots per hour.
((Drawn for the 2010 Gaia Online Summer event, Frontier Skies, as well as appearing in Gaia's Manga, the Izanagi served as the primary vessel of the 105th Marine Expeditionary Unit))
