Skater Chicks

This picture has a rather long history behind it. The redhead started off as a samurai (and male, to boot!) and eventually evolved into an ice-skater. Then she looked lonely, so I added the second girl.<br />

People keep asking me what their names/backgrounds are, and I have to keep telling them that the picture is totally random and I didn't expect it to end up like this at all. This is how I used to draw back in high school when I didn't have a specific drawing in mind - I'd start with some idea in my head, and then start drawing. The picture would then evolve as I continued drawing it, and I'd end up with something completely different from what I started out with. I don't do that so much now, since most of my drawings are doodles done in class, or pictures of one of my characters. It's nice to come up with something very random and different every once in a while, though. The blue stripes were fun. ^_^<br />
