Adult Chrono in color

*gasps* Rindi is putting up more anime fanart? What is this?! Heh heh, I noticed that my last anime fanart piece was posted up in January, so I guess it's been a while. I really don't draw anime fanart all that often... I like my original characters more. ^^ Anyway, the lineart for this is old, but the colors are new!

I digitally watercolored this picture back in June, but it wasn't until the other night that I added a background for a more complete look. I *know* that I fail at backgrounds, so hush. Chrono's supposed to look like he's caught in a searchlight beam or something. Or at least, that's how I try to reconcile the light foreground versus the dark background.

I'm somewhat ashamed that I used a lens flare for the moon, but in this case, I think it fits in pretty well.

I probably got the colors all wrong, but I didn't have any reference pictures. Besides, I think Chrono's demon outfit changes as the series progresses. Either that, or the manga and anime outfits are different. I like the combination of red, yellow, and purple...

I wish I had made his hair darker. It's too pink.

Chrono was drawn and inked by hand, colored in Painter, and the background was done in Photoshop. A lot of work went into this. o_o;
